The Media Unit welcomes your questions, but due to the large volume of media enquiries, it is not always possible to have face-to-face and phone interviews.

Data requests may take up to 7 working days to process.

The Media Unit is not staffed outside of standard business hours (weekdays 8am-6pm), public holidays or during the annual department closure.

We may not be able to respond to enquiries during these times but will prioritise requests received via email.

Student media enquiry guidelines

Student requests should be submitted to the Media Unit in writing. Please email media@tmr.qld.gov.au with specific questions at least 5 working days before your deadline. Please advise:

• contact email
• telephone number
• university attended
• whether the request is for publication or for an assignment.
